Keeping You Safe

Whilst we're delighted to be able to return to worshipping together on-site, we still want to keep everyone safe. Please keep reading to find out what you need to know before you come, and what will happen on the day.

  • Please DO NOT COME if you have any of the symptoms of COVID-19, have received a positive test result, or have been asked to self-isolate for any reason.
    • If you know you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive, but have not been asked to self-isolate, we would still ask you not to come. We have a number of people in the church who are medically vulnerable, and need to work together to keep them safe.
  • Face coverings are now optional (from 27th Jan '22). However, if you don't intend to wear one, we'd strongly urge you to take a Lateral Flow Test before coming.
  • Whilst you are free to sit close to others if you wish, we also recognise that not everyone is ready to do that yet. We will be roping off some pews to help keep everyone a bit more spaced out.
  • We may need to say that we have no more room if we have reached a capacity that everyone is comfortable with.
  • At all times please be considerate to others, give people space and follow instructions from the service leaders and stewards.
  • We will be taking contact details for Test & Trace. Our Privacy Policy stating how your information will be stored and used will be available on the day or by clicking here.
  • We won't be providing refreshments at the chapel at the moment. However, you are welcome to bring drinks with you wish. We hope to be able to provide refreshments at the school, but need to confirm this.
  • Please let us know as soon as possible if you develop COVID symptoms or receive a positive test result within 14 days after the service.
  • Please note that meeting on-site may be cancelled at the last minute if any of the key team members are asked to self-isolate. Please check this page before you come out to make sure the service is going ahead. If we do need to cancel, we still hope to be able to make the service available online only.
  • Finally, please be aware that the chapel may be cold. You may want to bring a warm coat etc. with you!
