Flower Festival
A massive thank you to everyone who has been involved in helping make the Flower Festival this week.
The chapel has been beautiful, and as of yesterday we’d had around 240 people come and visit (we hope this will be closer to 300 by the end of today!). More importantly, there have been some fantastic conversations about the church, community, faith and so much more.
A special thanks to Rosie for all her hard work in making the festival happen and bringing it all together!
Sun 31st May
Tomorrow we’re gathering to worship at 10.30am as usual.
We’ll be continuing to reflect on the theme of God’s creation, as well as sharing around the communion table together.
All are very welcome!

King's Gambit Social
A final reminder about the King’s Gambit social gathering, which is taking place on Mon 2nd June at Ron & Wendy’s flat in Sidmouth. There won’t be any chess this time, but plenty of puzzles, chat and eating together (bring your own food).
Cars will be leaving Budleigh at around 10am for a 10.30am start, and the time will finish at around 2pm.
For more info please speak to Mark.
Giving
A massive thank you to everyone who gives regularly to support the church. We only survive through your generosity, so it is much appreciated!
If you'd like to give, there is an offering bag available in the chapel each week. If you'd rather give by standing order or another regular payment, there's lots of information on the church website here.
Alternatively, you can now give by text message:
- To donate £5, text BSBC to 70970
- To donate £10, text BSBC to 70191
We also have gift aid forms available which will help us to claim back an extra 25p for every £1 you give, at no extra cost to you.
If you'd like any more information please speak to our treasurer, Liz.
