Easter Sunday

Join us tomorrow to celebrate Jesus' resurrection together...
  • At 6.30am we'll be meeting with other churches on the beach (near the Longboat cafe) for a sunrise communion service, followed by breakfast at Wesley's.
  • At 10.30am we'll be at the chapel and online for an all-age Easter Day Celebration Service
We'd love to see you there! And don't forget that the clocks go forward tonight...

Whether or not you can join us tomorrow, we pray you have a wonderful and blessed Easter!

Sponsored Walk & Coffee Morning

Dilia is busy organising some fundraising activities for her charity providing support for unpaid caregivers in Colombia.

  • Throughout May she'll be completing the Jesus Trail Virtual Challenge - aiming to cover the same distance as Jesus travelled between Nazareth and Capernaum. She'd love it if others could join her or be able to sponsor some money.
  • On Tuesday 16th April she'll be hosting a coffee morning from 10.15am-12.15pm at Victoria Road Baptist Church in Exmouth.

Please support Dilia with these events if you possibly can!

BMS World Mission

Jesus said, “‘As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples...’” (John 13: 34-35).

Jesus demonstrated this in his value and love for the most vulnerable in his society. Please join us as we pray for BMS safeguarding initiatives this week.

  • Pray for the European Baptist Federation as they support displaced people, some of the most at-risk people in the world. May these people find physical safety and spiritual rest as the love of Christ is shared with them.
  • We remember on Good Friday that for our sake Jesus experienced humiliation, pain and even death on a cross. He showed compassion and forgiveness to the end: may all who work for and with BMS follow his example.
  • Give thanks for our Asia safeguarding champion Louise Lynch, who supports safeguarding in different cultural contexts.
