Weekly News

Sunday 30th June

On Sunday we'll be gathering to worship at 10.30am at the chapel and online as usual. This week we are combining our service with our annual church meeting. This means it is a chance to look back and celebrate God's goodness over the last year, as well as look ahead to how he is guiding us for the future.

After the service, everyone is welcome to stay for some lunch and the more formal part of the meeting - including an election of deacons, receiving new members and more. The written reports for the meeting are available to read by clicking here.

For more info about our services please click here. We hope to see you there!

SWBA Celebration & AGM

The South West Baptist Association is holding its own annual Celebration & AGM on Sunday 7th July at Upton Vale Baptist Church. The afternoon will begin at 1pm with lunch, followed by worship and the meeting at 2pm.

This is a chance to meet some of the other people who make up our family of churches, hear more about some of the exciting ways God is at work in the south west, and discern together how God might be calling the association to work in the future. Everyone is welcome - to sign up, please click here.

BMS World Mission

God’s hands and feet on earth are his people. We are grateful that he continues to send people to serve alongside our partners overseas. This week we pray for those God is calling and the people supporting them in that journey

We praise God that there are people who have heard his prompting and are exploring his call with BMS. Pray for wisdom and discernment in the application processes for the candidates and for BMS.

Pray for those in churches who are supporting people exploring a call to mission. Pray that God would speak powerfully through them.

The Mission Programmes Operations Team takes a lead on supporting those exploring their call with BMS. Pray for them to know God’s leading and guiding as they journey with candidates.
