BMS World Mission

Underpinning much of BMS’ work is the faithful dedication of hundreds of volunteers, who generously give up their time and expertise to further the spread of the gospel. As you pray for our volunteers this week, perhaps consider if there are other ways in which you could volunteer your time and skills to further God’s Kingdom.

- Thank God for the faithful service of volunteer church planters and evangelists working with our partners in India. Pray for their protection, and that hearts would be open to hearing and accepting the gospel.

- Pray for BMS Representatives and Church Partner contacts who promote world mission in UK Baptist churches. Pray that more people would be inspired and equipped to support mission.

- We have a number of short-term volunteer roles being advertised. Please pray for the right people to come forward to serve interculturally in this way.

Giving

A massive thank you to everyone who gives regularly to support the church. We only survive through your generosity, so it is much appreciated!

If you'd like to give, there is an offering bag available in the chapel each week. If you'd rather give by standing order or another regular payment, there's lots of information on the church website here.

Alternatively, you can now give by text message:

  • To donate £5, text BSBC to 70970
  • To donate £10, text BSBC to 70191
Please note that you may not be able to give by text if you have a pay-as-you-go phone.

We also have gift aid forms available which will help us to claim back an extra 25p for every £1 you give, at no extra cost to you.

If you'd like any more information please speak to our treasurer, Liz.
