We've had a wonderful time over the last couple of weeks celebrating Christmas in lots of different ways. Thanks to everyone who's come along and been part of it!
On a personal note, we're very grateful to those who have given us very kind gifts and cards. We'd love to speak to you personally, but a couple of them were anonymous - so thank you!
There won't be an email next week, so please keep reading to find out everything that's going on over the next couple of weeks.

Sun 22nd Dec
Just a reminder that there will be no morning service tomorrow. Instead, do join us at 6pm for our Candlelit Carol Service. This is always a special time, and lots of people have been hard at working making the chapel look beautiful.
After the service there will be finger food and mulled wine in the hall. If you're able to bring something to add to the table, it would be very much appreciated.

Christmas Day Celebration
On Christmas Day we'll be gathering as usual to celebrate Jesus' birth together.
This is a short, very informal service starting at 10.30am. Wear your best(?) Christmas jumper, and bring along a present you'd like everyone to see.

BMS World Mission
The apostle Paul often writes about how we all have a part to play in the body of Christ. Our shared goal is to use God’s resources for his work and his glory. Fundraising is an important ministry within the body of Christ, and we need people to fulfil this work generously:
- Give thanks for our community fundraisers who organise events to raise funds for BMS. Pray for creative ideas and that they are blessed by encouraging results.
- Please pray for decision-makers at each Trust to which BMS applies for funding. Pray that they would catch the vision for our work and support us by giving grants.
- We praise God for 10,000 BMS Birthday Scheme members who generously give and share their blessings on their birthday. Please bless them with everything they need.

Giving
A massive thank you to everyone who gives regularly to support the church. We only survive through your generosity, so it is much appreciated!
If you'd like to give, there is an offering bag available in the chapel each week. If you'd rather give by standing order or another regular payment, there's lots of information on the church website here.
Alternatively, you can now give by text message:
- To donate £5, text BSBC to 70970
- To donate £10, text BSBC to 70191
We also have gift aid forms available which will help us to claim back an extra 25p for every £1 you give, at no extra cost to you.
If you'd like any more information please speak to our treasurer, Liz.
