Sunday 20th November
You may be aware that we currently have quite a few people from the church with COVID. For this reason, the deacons have decided that we will not be opening the chapel on Sunday. Instead, there will be a short service online at 10.30am (note the time change!) on Zoom.
We know that Zoom isn't ideal, and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. However, we hope that by doing this we can prevent the infection from spreading any further, keep each other safe, and relieve the demand on the volunteers who make everything happen (many of whom are ill).
The online service will include worship, prayer and the last part of our series looking at the seven signs in John's gospel. Afterwards there'll be a chance to catch up and chat. Please join us in worship and fellowship if you can! The Zoom details are below.
For children, there's some ideas and activities reflecting on this week's story available by clicking here.
Please be aware that for most people the COVID symptoms are showing as a heavy cold. If you feel at all unwell you may want to get a test

The Times, They Are, A...changing!
We're delighted to report that the internet connection has now been installed in the chapel, meaning that (COVID permitting) from Sunday 27th November it will be possible to join in our services live via Zoom.
Because of this, from now on ALL our morning services at the chapel will start at 10.30am. Enjoy the extra half hour in bed!
The only exception is Christmas Day, which will start at the later time of 10.45am to give people a chance to take part in the beach swim. See below for a link to details about all our Christmas services.

Christmas Lunch
As Julia mentioned in last week's service, we've had to make a late change to the plans for this year's Christmas lunch.
The lunch will still be on Sunday 11th December, but will now be held at the Venture Hall in Moor Lane. We're still waiting to confirm the menu and prices. Watch this space for more info!

Christmas Shoebox Appeal
Please don't forget to bring your completed shoe boxes to the chapel on Sunday 27th November, so they can be delivered to CR2EE the next day. If you are unable to make it to the chapel on that day, you are welcome to bring them to James & Julia's in the week before.

BMS World Mission
India has been the beating heart of BMS World Mission activity from 1793 onwards. Join us in prayer for work in India.
- Pray for BMS worker Ben Francis as he leads disciple-making training among networks of church planters across Asia and beyond. Pray that God will sustain him, and his wife Gillian and daughter Abigail, through his busy schedule.
- Pray for 100 BMS-supported workers who are planting churches across India. Pray for safety as many have faced persecution as they seek to share Christ in hostile villages.
- Pray for the Street Servants initiative run by BMS India which provides basic healthcare and education to thousands of children who live on the streets and have no access to schooling within Kolkata.
