Weekly News

Sun 20th July

On Sunday we’re gathering to worship, pray and continue our series in Ephesians. The service will start at 10.30am at the chapel and online as usual.

Afterwards, everyone is welcome to stay to have some lunch and a church meeting. We’ll be bringing updates on the renovation plans and some of the different opportunities to serve in the church, as well as thinking about an idea for engaging with our local community. Please stay if you can, and especially if you are a church member! Please also bring some food to add to the table…

BMS World Mission

This week BMS are asking us to pray for ‘Hope for the World’. They write:

BMS World Mission seeks to tackle poverty in all its forms. Your generosity supports church and community mobilisation (CCM) across Africa and provides patients with lifesaving  medical care at Guinebor II Hospital (G2) in Chad. Please join us in praying  for our Hope for the World ministries.

For prayer points for each day, please click here (p.15).

Giving

A massive thank you to everyone who gives regularly to support the church. We only survive through your generosity, so it is much appreciated!

If you'd like to give, there is an offering bag available in the chapel each week. If you'd rather give by standing order or another regular payment, there's lots of information on the church website here.

Alternatively, you can now give by text message:

  • To donate £5, text BSBC to 70970
  • To donate £10, text BSBC to 70191
Please note that you may not be able to give by text if you have a pay-as-you-go phone.

We also have gift aid forms available which will help us to claim back an extra 25p for every £1 you give, at no extra cost to you.

If you'd like any more information please speak to our treasurer, Liz.
