Ebenezer Chapel & Online (map)

Tomorrow we’re gathering to worship together as usual. We’ll be meeting at the chapel and online from 10.30am, and will be continuing to think about the Easter story as we look at John 20:24-29.

Sunday Club will be running for our children & young people, and will be looking at  ‘Giving Our Best.’

We hope to see you there! For more info about our services click here.

Going Deeper

Starting from this week, we’re going to be sending out some questions to think about based on the Sunday messages & Bible readings.

These can be used in home groups, with others or on your own, and are designed to help you engage in the passage and themes in more depth and reflect on how God might be speaking to you through them.

The questions will usually be sent out on a Monday (along with the recording from the previous day) and will be available on the Whatsapp group, Facebook, My Churchsuite and here on the church website. If you have any problems finding/accessing them, please get in touch!

Going Deeper

Multi-Cultural Church & Leadership

Many Baptist churches in the south west are seeing a dramatic rise in the number of people coming to worship with them from different ethnicities and cultures.

We hope that this is something we might also see at BSBC! In anticipation of that it’s good to start thinking about what we as a church have to offer to those coming from other parts of the world, what it might look like to be a genuinely multi-cultural church, and how we can offer a welcome to all.

Over the next few weeks, the South West Baptist Association are working with BMS World Mission to host three webinars exploring some of these themes. These will take place on the evenings of 30th April, 7th May & 14th May, and will include insights and wisdom from the BMS team as well as stories from other churches like ours in the south west.

We’d love it if a few of us from the church could attend these webinars. For more info and to sign up, please click here.

BMS World Mission

This week BMS are asking us to pray for the BMS World Mission Family. They write:

Funding our work wouldn’t be possible without each member of our BMS family generously playing their part, whether through speaking, giving, praying or taking on a challenge. Join us in praying as each generation steps up to contribute.

We’re immensely grateful to everyone who contributes to the church’s life and mission - through time, skills and financial donations.

If you’d like to make a donation, you can place any gifts in the box in the chapel foyer.
