Sunday 13th November
Tomorrow we're meeting at 10am at the chapel as usual, followed by the online service at 11.30am (get in touch for the Zoom details).
The service will include a time of remembrance and silence earlier on (the silence won't be at 11am). We'll also be continuing our series in John's gospel, welcoming Penny into membership and sharing around the communion table together. Children's activities will be available.
At 2pm we'll be joining others from the community for wreath-laying ceremony at the War Memorial on Coastguard Hill, followed by a remembrance service at 2.45pm at St. Peter's Church. There won't be a parade between the two this year - instead everyone is invited to make their own way to the church.
This year's Christmas lunch will be held at Budleigh Football Club after our Christmas Splash! service on Sunday 11th December.
The cost is £16 per adult. The church will cover the cost of children's meals.
For menu options and more details, please click here. If you'd like to come, please sign up on the sheet on Sunday morning or reply to this email. We need to know final numbers by Sunday 4th December.
Christmas Shoebox Appeal
Thank you to everyone who has already brought in items for the shoebox appeal.
If you have loose items you want to give, please can you bring them tomorrow so we can start making the boxes up. We are also in need of more empty shoeboxes that can be filled - if you have any lying around, please bring them with you.
If you are making up a complete box you have a bit more time - please bring them to the chapel by Sunday 27th November at the latest.
