Bay Court Service

On Friday 17th May at 1.30pm we'll be once again visiting Bay Court Residential Home to hold a short service and chat to the residents.

We'd love it if a few people could join us to help with the singing and to get to know people.

Walking for the Caregivers Support Trust

As mentioned a few weeks ago, Dilia is planning on doing another month of walks to raise money for the Caregivers Support Trust in Colombia. This is now happening in June, and she would love it if others could join her.

BMS World Mission

In 2024, we're celebrating the expansion of our Church Partners programme to include workers from around the world who are called by God to work in their own or another country. Please join us in praying for our Church Partners and do sign up if you would like your church to be part of the programme.

-  Please pray for partnerships for Pastor J in Cambodia and Barnabas in Bangladesh. They are doing inspiring work: Pastor J is training evangelists and Barnabas is co-ordinating mission work in Dhaka.

- Give thanks that there are already many churches that feel called to support Dil Bahadur Chhetri and Krishna Bahadur Bohara doing teacher training in Nepal.

- We continue to give thanks for the churches that are already supporting BMS mission workers. Their ministry is sustained by the faithful support of UK Baptist churches.

For more info about BMS and how you can support them in prayer and giving, click here.

Giving

A massive thank you to everyone who gives regularly to support the church. We only survive through your generosity, so it is much appreciated!

If you'd like to give, there is an offering bag available in the chapel each week. If you'd rather give by standing order or another regular payment, there's lots of information on the church website here.

Alternatively, you can now give by text message:

  • To donate £5, text BSBC to 70970
  • To donate £10, text BSBC to 70191
Please note that you may not be able to give by text if you have a pay-as-you-go phone.

We also have gift aid forms available which will help us to claim back an extra 25p for every £1 you give, at no extra cost to you.

If you'd like any more information please speak to our treasurer, Liz.
