Church Meeting

Our next church meeting will be held on Thursday 23rd February at 7.30pm. This is our chance to come together in prayer and worship, share some of the practical things going on in church life, and discern how God might be leading us together.

We'd love it if as many could join us as possible. You can participate by coming to the chapel, or on Zoom (get in touch for the details).

Lent Course

There is no Partnership Lent course this year. However, St. Peter's Church would like to invite everyone to four sessions they are running looking at Richard Rohr's book 'The Universal Christ.' Fr. Richard comes from a radical Mystical and contemplative school of catholic theology in the same vein and stable as Julian of Norwich, William Blake and Thomas Merton and while you don’t need to have necessarily read the book, it would give a solid background to the course.

The sessions will start at 7pm in the Peter Hall, on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 14th March – The four worldviews
  • Wednesay 22nd March – Spiritual transformation.
  • Tuesday 28th March – Christ is everywhere
  • Wednesday 5th April – Contemplation

- Pray for ongoing rescue operations, that they might still yet find survivors under the rubble. Pray that aid will reach survivors who are now in desperate need of medical treatment and emergency items.

- Pray for those families who have lost loved ones or whose loved ones are currently missing. Pray that God will give them peace and strength in the face of this devastating tragedy.

- Pray for BMS partners in Türkiye, Syria and Lebanon, that God will guide them wisely as they respond with relief efforts.
