For safety reasons we don't publish the Zoom details for our services or meetings online. If you'd like to join us on Zoom, please get in touch for the details.

Queen Elizabeth II
We know that many of us will want to remember and pay our respects to the Queen over the coming days, and there are various opportunities to do this locally.
There will be books of condolence for people to sign for the next ten days at the council offices in the Public Hall on Station Road (10am-4pm. Closes 12.30pm on Sundays). Flowers can be laid on The Green in Budleigh or at the War Memorial on the Strand in Exmouth.
There will be a memorial service at St. Peter's Church, probably next weekend. However, we are still waiting for details of this to be confirmed.

Sunday 11th September
On Sunday we'll be meeting at 10am for a special all-age service at the chapel, praying for our children at the start of the new school year.
The service will begin with a time of silence and prayers for the Queen, her family and the nation.
After that we'll be thinking about how God guides us and is with us through songs, stories, quizzes and more. We'll also be welcoming HIlary into membership and gathering around the communion table.
We hope that this will be a chance to worship with the whole church family, so do join us if you can!
The service will be available at 11.30am on Zoom as normal. However, for safeguarding reasons (as this is an all-age service), the recording won't be publically available after that

The Wave Community Cafe
In last week's news we said that we hoped to re-open the cafe on Thursday 15th September. For various reasons this is no longer going to be possible, so we hope instead to open on Thursday 22nd September. Apologies for any inconvenience.

BMS World Mission
Please join us this week as we pray for projects supported through the BMS Mission Innovation Fund (MIF).
- Please pray for our North African friends who have received funding for training and to deepen relationships with partners, that they may have the wisdom to know which relationships and agreements to pursue.
- Please pray for the safeguarding project led by BMS worker Louise Lynch in Bangladesh, that policies would be adopted and widely put into practice, benefitting children and the most vulnerable in society.
- Thank God for the lives reached through the MIF-supported Mission Integral Training Programme in Peru. Please pray for wisdom as to how to develop programmes here.
