Weekly News 11/08/2024

Tomorrow we'll be meeting to worship and pray together at the chapel and online at 10.30am as usual. We'll be continuing our short series looking at the Psalms, as well as worshipping and praying together.

The latest prayer letter from Laura Lee Lovering, the BMS Mission Worker we support in Peru, is now available to read by clicking here.

Please keep Laura in your prayers as she serves God overseas!

This week you can join us in praying for BMS-supported emerging leaders across the globe.

- Pray for BMS worker Daniel Clark in his new role working with our partner the International Baptist Theological Study Centre on their learning platform.

- Pray for BMS’ work with leaders in Ghana, India and Western Europe. Pray for a good outcome to these collaborations and ask that they will produce many creative expressions of mission.

- Pray for all BMS workers who are currently in the BMS Church Partners scheme. Ask that their interaction with UK churches would inspire a fresh wave of mission-minded disciples.

A massive thank you to everyone who gives regularly to support the church. We only survive through your generosity, so it is much appreciated!

If you'd like to give, there is an offering bag available in the chapel each week. If you'd rather give by standing order or another regular payment, there's lots of information on the church website here.

Alternatively, you can now give by text message:

• To donate £5, text BSBC to 70970
• To donate £10, text BSBC to 70191
