Sunday 8th September
Tomorrow morning we've got the first Splash! service fo the new school year. We'll be thinking about the story of Joshua and the Israelites going into the Promised Land, and how God is always with us. The service will begin at 10.30am at the chapel and online as usual.
For more info about our services please click here. Do come along if you can!

Fun in the Forest
On Sun 22nd September we're holding the postponed family afternoon at Exmouth Forest School. This is being run in collaboration with the other churches in the town. We'll be building dens, toasting marshmallows, playing games and thinking about prayer and faith together. The afternoon is aimed at primary aged children and their parents/guardians.

BMS World Mission
This year’s harvest appeal from BMS World Mission is all about sowing abundant life and the Word of God across Bangladesh. Please pray for Bangladesh this week:
- BMS-supported outreach workers Bina and James have been spending this year completing their theological training. Pray that this would equip them to keep serving the Lord well when they return to Shrimongol, where they have been serving for the last ten years.
- BMS-supported worker Barnabas Hembron is the Mission Co-ordinator at our partner in Bangladesh. Pray that the Lord strengthens and equips him across all his work
.
- Pray for churches holding Seek first the Kingdom services over the harvest season. Pray that their services go well, and that churches are inspired by the work in Bangladesh.

Giving
A massive thank you to everyone who gives regularly to support the church. We only survive through your generosity, so it is much appreciated!
If you'd like to give, there is an offering bag available in the chapel each week. If you'd rather give by standing order or another regular payment, there's lots of information on the church website here.
Alternatively, you can now give by text message:
- To donate £5, text BSBC to 70970
- To donate £10, text BSBC to 70191
We also have gift aid forms available which will help us to claim back an extra 25p for every £1 you give, at no extra cost to you.
If you'd like any more information please speak to our treasurer, Liz.
