We’ll be reflecting on the Road to Emmaus and sharing around the communion table together.
Everyone is very welcome!

Help at the Flower Festival
Plans are well underway for the Flower Festival, which will be taking place from 28th-31st May as part of Gala Week. A massive thanks to everyone who’s already involved in different ways!
On Sunday there’ll be a sign-up sheet available to help during the week. There’ll be lots of jobs to do, including welcoming people, serving refreshments, baking cakes etc.
Also, please be praying for this missional endeavour.
BMS World Mission
BMS’ Board of Trustees is drawn from across the Baptist community and is responsible for BMS’ vision, mission and strategy. Please join us as we pray for them this week.
- Ask God to help the Trustees as they organise due diligence checks on BMS’ partners. Pray for mutual understanding and ask that together they will find new financing opportunities.
- The Trustees are seeking to increase the diversity of the Board in terms of ethnicity, gender and skills. Pray that God will guide them and give them wisdom as they appoint new Trustees.
- Pray for the BMS Council, which is seeking to internationalise its membership. Pray that this will strengthen relationships with churches in the UK and in the countries where BMS works.
Giving
A massive thank you to everyone who gives regularly to support the church. We only survive through your generosity, so it is much appreciated!
If you'd like to give, there is an offering bag available in the chapel each week. If you'd rather give by standing order or another regular payment, there's lots of information on the church website here.
Alternatively, you can now give by text message:
- To donate £5, text BSBC to 70970
- To donate £10, text BSBC to 70191
We also have gift aid forms available which will help us to claim back an extra 25p for every £1 you give, at no extra cost to you.
If you'd like any more information please speak to our treasurer, Liz.
