Bay Court Remembrance Service
On Fri 8th Nov we'll be leading a short Remembrance Service at Bay Court Nursing Home. Everyone is welcome to join us. The service will start at 1.30pm.

Remembrance Sunday
Next Sunday we'll be joining with others in the town to mark Remembrance Sunday.
- Our morning service will include a short act of remembrance. Please note that as this coincides with a Splash! service, the silence won't necessarily happen at 11am.
- At 2pm there will be wreath-laying ceremony at the war memorial on Coastguard Road. This will be followed by a remembrance service at St. Peter's Church, starting at 2.45pm.

Quiz and Fish & Chips
Our annual quiz and fish & chips is happening on Friday 15th November, starting at 6pm at the Venture Hall. Brian's been working hard on the questions, and rounds will include Literature and Arts, Sports and Pastimes, Geography, Nature, a children's round, Prime Ministers, Rivers and more!
The cost is £7.50 per person. If you'd like to come, please reply to this email or sign up on the sheet at the chapel. Gluten free options will be available.

Mission, Evangelism & Church Planting Day
On Saturday 16th Nov the SWBA are hosting a day to help churches think about evangelism and church planting. There'll be all sorts of sessions and seminars covering a variety of themes, including discipleship, evangelism, small missional communities, children, youth and families' work and more. It would be great if a number of us could go!
The day will take place at Pinhoe Road Baptist Church in Exeter and costs £10 per person. For more info and to sign up, please click here.

BMS World Mission
BMS is blessed to have several former mission workers now serving behind the scenes to ensure that BMS endures for generations to come. Please join us as we lift them up in prayer this week.
– BMS has recognised the need for mission workers to have ready access to pastoral care. Jenny Saunders has joined us as our new Pastoral Care Worker. Please pray as Jenny and her family re-adjust from their time serving in Nepal.
– Lift up the mission workers who ended their service with BMS over the last year. God, you know your calling for their lives; we pray that they may know it too.
– Arthur Brown, our Director for World Mission, served with BMS in Lebanon between 2005 and 2019. Please pray for Arthur during a time of shifting direction for BMS.

Giving
A massive thank you to everyone who gives regularly to support the church. We only survive through your generosity, so it is much appreciated!
If you'd like to give, there is an offering bag available in the chapel each week. If you'd rather give by standing order or another regular payment, there's lots of information on the church website here.
Alternatively, you can now give by text message:
- To donate £5, text BSBC to 70970

We also have gift aid forms available which will help us to claim back an extra 25p for every £1 you give, at no extra cost to you.
