World Day of Prayer
A reminder that later this week we are hosting the local service for the World Day of Prayer. This will take place at 2pm on Fri 7th March at our chapel. This year’s theme is ‘I made you wonderful,’ based on Psalm 139.
All are welcome to join us, so please come if you can.

Creme Eggs Needed
A small army of people from all the churches in the town have been busy knitting chicks. The plan is to put a Cadbury’s Creme Egg inside each one, then gift them to local primary school children with an Easter message attached.
If anyone could help out by buying a box (or two or three) of eggs to donate, it would be much appreciated. Any donations can be brought to the chapel on Sunday mornings. Thank you!

Lent Talks
This year’s series of Partnership Lent talks will begin on Tuesday 11th March. We will be using Nick Fawcett’s book ‘Stop & Stare’ to guide our thinking and reflection together. Each week will be led a different member of the clergy, and will include a short talk then time for discussion and prayer.
The talks will take place at 2pm at Temple Methodist Church and then be repeated at 7.30pm at St Peter’s CofE Church. All are very welcome - do come along and enjoy some fellowship with other Christians.

Church Meeting
Our next church meeting will be held after the morning service on Sunday 23rd March. We’ll have some lunch together (please bring something to add to the table) and spend some time praying and listening to God.
Everyone is welcome, so please put the date in your diaries.

BMS World Mission
Join us this week as we pray for the work of BMS’ Intercultural Learning and Collaboration Team (ILC). The ILC team mobilise and equip people for mission across the world — please pray for all the work they do!
- Pray for the Baptist churches in northeast India with whom BMS is collaborating. Ask God to raise up a movement of disciple makers from these churches.
- Pray for the mission hub in Ghana. Pray that many people in mission will emerge from there and bless not only the great continent of Africa but also the world.
- Pray that Christians, organisations and churches from all over the world will collaborate more deeply and partner more effectively in fulfilling the mission of God — together!

Giving
A massive thank you to everyone who gives regularly to support the church. We only survive through your generosity, so it is much appreciated!
If you'd like to give, there is an offering bag available in the chapel each week. If you'd rather give by standing order or another regular payment, there's lots of information on the church website here.
Alternatively, you can now give by text message:
- To donate £5, text BSBC to 70970

We also have gift aid forms available which will help us to claim back an extra 25p for every £1 you give, at no extra cost to you.
