Morning Worship

Sun 1st March  |  10.30am

Ebenezer Chapel & Online (map)

On Sunday we’re gathering to worship, pray and share around the communion table together. We’ll be continuing our Lent series, using Psalm 46 & Luke 5:15-16 to think about the place of silence and solitude in our discipleship.

As part of the service we’ll be learning a new song - click the video below to hear it in advance.

Sunday Club will be meeting for the children and youth, and will be thinking about the Parable of the Sower.

Don’t forget that alongside the Sunday services you can also join us for our ecumenical Lent Groups (see below) and download the Lectio 365 app for daily prayer reflections following the same themes. Click here for more information about the resources.

Crime Prevention Morning

Tues 10th Mar  |  10.30am
Ebenezer Chapel (map)

In this digital age we are spending more and more time online.  How do we keep safe online?  How do we recognise when we are being scammed and what do we do when we have concerns?

These are some of the questions that Devon and Cornwall Police will help us with in session 1 of our Crime Prevention Morning (held as part of The Meeting Place on that day). Then, following a coffee break, we will spend a bit of time thinking generally about preventing crime and how we can keep safe when we are in our homes or out and about.

All are welcome - please feel free to invite friends & neighbours who would find it helpful.

Church Lunch & Meeting

Our next church meeting will be on Sunday 29th March after the morning service. We’ll have a bring and share lunch, then spend some time thinking, praying and sharing various news updates together.

We will provide activities for the children so parents can join in.

Everyone is welcome. If you are a church member then coming to these meetings is part of your covenant commitment, so please make every effort to be there if you can.

BMS World Mission

This week BMS are asking us to pray for ‘Benon Kayanja and Justice Livelihoods Health’. They write:

Uganda’s historical conflicts deeply affected ordinary people, displacing families, destroying livelihoods and creating long-lasting wounds. BMS World Mission’s partner Justice Livelihoods Health (JLH) is working  in Gulu and Kasese to bring practical and spiritual help.
