Join us for a Pancake Party at the chapel for children & families.

The party will start at 4.30pm and there’ll be games, music, pancakes and a ridiculous amount of processed sugar.

We’ll provide pancake batter and some toppings, but please feel free to bring any other toppings you’d like to add to the table.

It would be helpful to have an idea of numbers, so if you’d like to come please sign up by clicking here.

Lent Resources

Throughout Lent this year we're going to be using some resources from 24-7 Prayer to journey with, and learn from, the spirituality and prayers of the desert fathers and mothers. You can join in three ways:

  • Each week our morning services will include teaching and reflection drawing from the material.
  • There will be ecumenical Lent Groups running at the chapel every Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon. These will include short videos plus space for reflection and discussion. Our home groups will be pausing their usual meetings to join these groups instead, but we’d encourage you to come along even if you aren’t normally part of a home group.
  • The daily prayers and reflections from the Lectio 365 app will follow the same theme, and will help you pray and keep engaging with the material in your own time. The app can be downloaded for free from lectio365.com.

All this will kick off from Sun 15th Feb until Easter. However, we wanted to give you plenty of notice so that you can get the groups etc. in your diaries!

Crime Prevention Morning

Tues 10th Mar  |  10.30am
Ebenezer Chapel (map)

In this digital age we are spending more and more time online.  How do we keep safe online?  How do we recognise when we are being scammed and what do we do when we have concerns?

These are some of the questions that Devon and Cornwall Police will help us with in session 1 of our Crime Prevention Morning (held as part of The Meeting Place on that day). Then, following a coffee break, we will spend a bit of time thinking generally about preventing crime and how we can keep safe when we are in our homes or out and about.

All are welcome - please feel free to invite friends & neighbours who would find it helpful.

BMS World Mission

This week BMS are asking us to pray for 'Hope for the World'. They write:

Many BMS World Mission projects fall under the ‘Hope for the World’ category. This week, let’s pray for the countries of Nepal, Chad, Uganda and Sierra Leone where much of this work takes place.

For prayer points for each day, please click here (p.9).
