The next meeting of our Walking Group will be on Thursday 10th October.
This will be a three mile walk, starting at Salcombe Hill car park and including Soldier’s Hill and the views over Sidmouth.
It’s a fairly level walk but might be a bit muddy in places, so walking boots would be a good idea if you have them.
Lunch is planned at The Bowd.
The car park (free) is immediately on the right at the top of Salcombe Hill Road, more or less opposite the Observatory – follow the Observatory signs.
The OS reference is SY138882 and marked on OS Explorer 115 (Exmouth & Sidmouth).
There are no toilets but Sidmouth Garden Centre is en route if you use the main road.
