Happy New Year! And welcome to the January news update from BSBC.
A massive ‘Thank You’ to everyone who has worked so hard over the last few weeks to help make our Christmas services and events happen. We didn’t get pictures of everything, but we’ve had a great time worshipping, celebrating and sharing the Christmas story in different ways, and have seen lots of visitors come through our doors for the first time.

Intro to the New Testament
The next module in the SWBA’s Pathways programme will be ‘Intro to the New Testament.’
This will be taught in Exeter by Chris Norden from Bristol Baptist College. We'll be exploring some of the key historical and theological narratives and themes running through the NT, thinking about the skills needed to read and interpret the different types of literature, and reflecting on how the Bible might be used and applied in our context today.
This should be a fascinating and really helpful module. It’s open to anyone - even if you haven’t attended any others. For more info and to sign up please click here.
Community Suppers
A reminder that over the next few months Wesley’s Cafe (at the Methodist Church) are once again hosting monthly pay-as-you-can community suppers.
See the image below for a full list of dates, and phone 07955 863160 to reserve a place.
