Christmas Shoebox Appeal 2023

Local charity Christian Response to Eastern Europe (CR2EE) are inviting us to help fill shoeboxes which will be sent as Christmas gifts to families in Ukraine & Moldova.

Moldova is one of the poorest and most deprived countries in Europe. This year, the country is also trying to support a huge number of Ukrainian refugees, and some of the boxes will also go to refugee families who have fled their homes with nothing.

The boxes can be a real blessing, and are very much appreciated by everyone who receives them!

The boxes need to be wrapped in Christmas paper and filled with new and non-perishable items. Some gift ideas for different sexes/age groups are listed below, but these are only suggestions.

Please mark the box clearly stating whether it is for a boy, girl, man or woman and the suggested age range. If you want you could also include a photo of yourself so that the recipient knows who it has come from.

Completed boxes need to be brought to the church by Sunday 15th October so that we can arrange for them to be delivered to CR2EE.

If you don't feel able to fill a whole box but would like to donate some items towards a box that's fine - please bring the items to church by Sunday 1st October so that we have time to put the boxes together.
