This year’s Christian Aid Week runs from the 15th-21st May.
As usual, the Church Partnership are keen to support Christian Aid, and have organised two special events to raise awareness and money.
Saturday 14th May – Sponsored Walk & Cream Tea
There will be two sponsored walks leaving from Lime Kiln car park between 10.15am and 11am:
- 2 Miles – leaving from Lime Kiln and heading up the banks of the river to White Bridge.
- 5 miles – Leaving from Lime Kiln and heading along the SW coast path to Brandy Head. Here there will be an opportunity to have a packed lunch, and prayers will be led by Rev Jonathan Froggatt at 12pm and 1pm.
From 2.30pm-4pm there will be a cream tea served at Temple Methodist Church. Do come along and support this if you can. For more details please speak to Carole Wynn.
Sunday 22nd May – 6.30pm – Christian Aid Service
This will be held at the Ebenezer Chapel, and is a chance to hear more about the work of Christian is and spend time in prayer and celebration together. Laura McAdam will be the guest speaker.
