Walking Group

The next meeting of our walking group will be on Thursday 11th May.

We’ll be meeting at 10.30am on Church Hill, behind the parish church in Otterton. The walk will be around 3 miles, and will be followed by lunch at the Dog & Donkey in Knowle.

Holy Week & Easter

Easter PosterThroughout Holy Week and Easter we will be holding several special services. See below for the full list, and do join us if you can.

Tuesday 11th April
– Easter Hymn Singing in local residential homes. Meet at The Firs at 2pm.

Thursday 13th April
7.30pm –
Maundy Thursday Communion Service at Ebenezer Chapel. A quiet, reflective service as we gather around the communion table together.

Friday 14th April
10am –
Ecumenical Walk of Witness starting from Lime Kiln Car Park.
– Good Friday Service at Temple Methodist Church

Sun 16th April
– Sunrise Service on the beach by the Longboat Cafe.
10.30am – Easter Day Celebration at Ebenezer Chapel.

My Mum Is Fantastic LogoOn Saturday 25th March we’re hosting a special event at the Venture Hall in Moor Lane to celebrate mums and Mothers’ Day together.

Activites will include…

  • Games
  • Craft
  • Refreshments
  • Stories
  • Bouncy castle
  • Circus Skills
  • Face painting
  • Family/child photoshoots with Sarah Jayne Photography
  • and more!

All are very welcome and entry is free, so come and join in the fun from 3.30pm onwards.

Lent Talks

Living Faithfully book coverThe Church Partnership have once again organised a series of Lent talks, which this year are based on the book ‘Living Faithfully‘ by John Pritchard.

The talks will explore different aspects of faith in contemporary society and the challenge of everyday discipleship.

Each talk will take place at 10.30am at Temple Methodist Church and will be repeated at 7.30pm at St. Peter’s CofE Church each week.
