Our morning worship services are at 10.30am every Sunday morning, at the Ebenezer Chapel in Little Knowle.
Worship at these services, though structured, is informal and accessible and we try to blend a range of musical styles and expressions of prayer and praise. The reading of Scripture and biblical preaching hold a central place within our worship and, once a month, we celebrate in the sharing of Holy Communion.
We always incorporate prayers into our service – praying on different weeks for individuals, our church, our community and our world. Throughout 2016 the second Sunday of each month will be focussed on praying for our future as a church, as part of a year of prayer that we are calling ‘The Way Ahead’.
Song & hymn words are projected onto a screen at the front, but there are also large print copies of the words available for those who struggle to see the screen. The church has a hearing aid loop system to help those who are hard of hearing.
We don’t have many children at the moment, but children’s activities are available every week. For more details about our child safeguarding practice and policy, please click here.
After the service many of us stay around for a tea or coffee and a chance to chat. This is a great opportunity to get to know people, so please do stay if you are able.
There’s no dress code and all are very welcome – we would love to see you!
